How To Choose An Office Chair
By Lola Rodanni, 18 Mar 18:05
How to choose an office chair. The keys are comfort, functionality, durability, appearance, design and price.
My favorite is Herman Miller’s Aeron Chair.
I have used many chairs over the years and nothing comes close in terms of function and comfort. They are built very well and can take a beating.
They have won many design awards over the years. You see them in movies and on television shows.
One of the key features of the Aeron is the mesh backing and seat which keeps you cool.
There are so many different types of office chairs available. From swivel task office chairs to an executive office chairs even ergonomic office chairs. There are also low back, mid back and high back office chairs. The choices are many which variations on many themes.
So how do you choose the office chair that is right for you? The chair must roll, adjust the height, adjust the arm rests and swivel.
I bought many cheap chairs and would get sore backs. I think an office chair is one of the most important investments in a new office. Notice I used the term investment. You are investing in your productivity. An uncomfortable chair will detract from up and cost you.
You can find lightly used Aeron on Ebay and save hundreds. They come in various sizes so research the Herman Miller site.
Make the investment. You will love it.

I have an Aeron. Nothing comes close in my book. I have used it for 9 years and I can sit in it all day. Amazing marvel of great design.
